This is to inform all the fresh students (both Level 100/200) of the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU), Katsina State, that the management has released the date, time and venue for the 14th matriculation ceremony. Matriculating students are also advised to collect the University Academic Gowns from their Faculty Officer after the payment of the stipulated fees.

The Management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, is informing all staff and students that, it has approved the postponement of the scheduled date for the Matriculation/Orientation of fresh students.
A statement signed by the Registrar, Mal. Nasir Bello, said the Matriculation/Orientation programme for the fresh students which was earlier scheduled to hold tomorrow 27th October, 2024 has now been postponed till further notice.
The statement said a new date for the exercise will be communicated to all stakeholders in due course.
The Management hereby regrets all the inconveniences the postponement might have caused all concerned individuals.

UMYU Matriculation Ceremony has been scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: 27th October, 2024
Time: 9:00am
Venue: University Auditorium
UMYU Matriculation Gown Collection Procedure
Matriculating students are advised to collect University Academic Gowns from their Faculty Officer, after payment of the prescribed N500. 00 fees at the University Micro Finance Bank.
You are also advised to keep the Gowns safe and tidy, as any loss or damage will attract refund of the cost of production of the Gowns.
Attendance is mandatory to all fresh students.
