Special Public Works Registration Portal 2024 – specialpublicworks.gov.ng: The 2024 FG’s Special Public Works Programme application portal (https://specialpublicworks.gov.ng/site/) opened for registration expected to start on October 1, 2024, to all the eligible Nigerians. The Special Public Works programme Registration is specifically for unemployed youths.

Special Public Works Programme 2024: The Special Public Works Programme of the Federal Government has kicked off nationwide. The State Selection Committees have been inaugurated and have commenced work.

Applicants are to note that the application process is completely free and there is no application fee. Applicants are requested to read and understand all relevant information prior to applying.

https://specialpublicworks.gov.ng/site/ is the official registration portal where the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) will receive and process the application of intending Special Public Works beneficiaries.

Special Public Works in the Rural Areas is an employment- intensive technique acquired and adapted by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) from one of the capacity-building collaborations with the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in the late 1980’s to the middle of the 1990’s. The Project was tagged ILO/NDE Labour Based/ Light Equipment Methods of Construction, Rehabilitation and maintenance of Public Infrastructure.

Special Public Works Registration Portal 2024 – How to Apply

The 2024 https://specialpublicworks.gov.ng is easy. Just create your account, then sign in and upload all the required documents.

While applying, all Special Public Works Programme applicants should note the following:

1. The portal is only open to applicants aged 18-35: (This means you must be born between 1985 and 2024).

2. Before you go on to apply, ensure you have the following:

• • A printout or accurate details of your Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • A recent passport photograph (1MB) either JPEG or PNG files
  • Valid contact – Email address or a working phone number
  • Your degree Certificate and NYSC certificate, if you are a graduate.

3. Log on to the Special Public Works Programme application portal at www.specialpublicworks.gov.ng/site

The initiative which is expected to start on October 1, 2024, plans to employ 1,000 persons from each of the 774 local government areas in the country. Each of the beneficiaries of the programme will be paid N20,000 monthly to carry out public works.
