Call for Code Global Challenge for Developers 2025 : Developers and problem solvers are invited for the Call for Code Global Challenge 2025 that seeks to address specific problems in unique, clearly demonstrable ways. The Challenge has IBM as its founding partner.
In the Call for Code Global Challenge, you can join the fight against Climate Change, Clean Water and Sanitation, Zero Hunger, Responsible Production and Green Consumption by building and deploying open source solutions in the cloud.

Call for Code Global Challenge for Developers 2025.
The Call for Code Global Challenge is calling on developers and problem solvers to form teams and develop solutions that address specific problems in special ways tailored to have the greatest community impact with the smallest technological footprint. The Competition has several components including: Global Challenge with grand prize up to $200,000 USD, University Challenge with grand prize up to $10,000 USD and Regional prizes up to $5,000.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the Call for Code Global Challenge 2025 must meet the following criteria before applying:
- Teams of up to five (5) participants, each at least 18 years old.
- A participant may not be a part of multiple teams.
- Teams competing for the University Challenge must ensure that all team members are enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning.
- All team members must have accepted the 2025 Participation Agreement at the time they submit their solution to be eligible.
- Solutions must be built on creativity and must have an attribute of innovation.
How to Apply.
Interested applicants for the Call for Code Global Challenge 2025 are to use one or more IBM Cloud Services or IBM Systems. Applicants must accept the Participation Agreement when registering for the Global Challenge.
