The Waec 2020 result has now been released. This was disclosed by the Head of WAEC in Nigeria, Mr Olu Olanipekun during a press briefing in Lagos on Tuesday. Olanipekun revealed that the examination which was concluded on February 4 across the federation was marked in three centres in Nigeria, Abeokuta, Enugu and Kaduna between February 15 and February 28.
He said: “Today, Tuesday the 3rd day of March, 2020, I am happy to announce the release of the results of candidates that sat the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2020 – First Series, in Nigeria 30 days after the conclusion of the examination.
How To Check May/June Waec 2020/2021 Result Online
You will need a WAEC scratch CARD from the bank, waec offices and dealers nationwide first before you proceed to check Your Waec Result.
- Visit the WAEC result checker portal www.waecdirect.org
- in the space provided you are meant to carefully enter your exam and center number.
- chose your exam year, in this case it should be 2019
- chose May/June but if you are a private candidate chose Nov/Dec
- enter the serial number of the card you bought and also the pin before submitting.
How To Check Nov/Dec Waec 2020/2021 Result
- Visit the WAEC result checker portal www.waecdirect.org
- in the space provided you are meant to carefully enter your exam and center number.
- chose your exam year, in this case it should be 2019
- chose May/June but if you are a private candidate chose Nov/Dec
- enter the serial number of the card you bought and also the pin before submitting.
Check WAEC 2020/2021 Result With Your Phone (Without Internet)
Not all candidates will have the time to visit a business center probably due to distance.
For those who don’t have an Internet connection you can now make check your WAEC results with your Nokia touch light phone via USSD CODE

Example: let’s assume your exam year to be 2019,let’s take 78965432, to be your center number, let’s also assume that your pin is 123890.
To check Your Waec Result using the SMS option simply open your SMS and send WAEC78965432123890*2018 to 32327.
NOTE: You must have at least 30 naira to be able to perform this function else your message won’t be delivered.
