This is to inform the general public that the INEC recruitment protal is now accessible and applications can be submitted online via applicant.inecrecruitment.com.

If you’ve been searching on the right INEC Recruitment Registration Process & Application Requirements, then you are at the right page. This post is to guide all interested applicants to apply for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recruitment form on www.inecrecruitment.com.

As previously promised, I will personally create a sample account and attach pictures as I move on to guide you through this process. How to Register on INEC Recruitment Portal – applicants.inecrecruitment.com

All applications are to be made online. Suitably qualified candidates should log on to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Portal https://applicants.inecrecruitment.com to complete the prescribed application form free of charge. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the next phase of the recruitment exercise.

2. Select Sign Up from the top right of the page (applicants.inecrectuirment.com). Fill in your Last Name (Surname), First Name, Mobile Number, Email and Choose your desired password and then select the checkbox in order to complete the security process.

3. After completing stage (2), login to your email and confirm your registration. Also, Check your Inbox and Spam Folder.

4. After confirming your registration, go back to applicants.inecrecruitment.com and login to your account. Then fill in all the necessary information.

5. Upload your passport photograph. Ensure that you follow the guidelines below. Passports Applications with photos that do not match these specifications are liable to be rejected when you come for the interview.

- The image must have adequate brightness and contrast;
- The skin tone should be natural. In case of over-exposure or under-exposure of the photo, the skin is either too dark or too light, photo will not be acceptable;
- It should show a close up of the head and partial shoulders;
- The image should be straight looking, centered with neutral expression;
- Face should be in sharp focus and clear;
- The face from forehead edge to bottom of chin should be 70 to 80% of the photo or one inch height;
- The eyes must be open and no hair obscuring the face;
- Prescription glasses if worn should be clear and thin framed and should not have flash reflection or obscure the eyes;
- Head coverings, hair, head-dress or facial ornaments should not obscure the face;
- The photo must have plain light background;
- There must be no other people or object in the photo;
- The lighting must be uniform with no shadows on the face or behind;
- Red eye photos are not allowed;
- No lines are allowed.
- No PNG image allowed.
- Max size of the passport allowed (320KB).

Note: Passports Applications with photos that do not match these specifications are liable to be rejected when you come for the interview. Applicants are advised not to submit photos with any of the defects listed above.

6. Select “Openings/Jobs” on the menu bar and then select your desired job position then submit your application.

7. Finally, you are expected to print our your acknowledgement form and wait for the next phase of the INEC recruitment 2024.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS BY CATEGORIES

i. PROFESSIONALS/ EXPERIENCED HIRES – GRADE LEVELS 09 – 14
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Sciences, the Sciences or Humanities, Masters degree, Professional qualification chartered by legislation, NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate and post-qualification cognate experience is an added advantage.

ii. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER II (REGISTRATION AREA OFFICER) – GRADE LEVEL 08
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Sciences, Sciences or Humanities, and NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

iii. EXECUTIVE OFFICER (REGISTRATION AREA OFFICER) – GRADE LEVEL 07

Applicants must possess:

National Certificate in Education (NCE) or National Diploma with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification cognate experience.

INEC Recruitment Portal General Requirements.

In addition, an applicant MUST: –

i. Be a Nigerian Citizen;
ii. Present a Certificate of State of Origin Signed by the Chairman/ Secretary of his/her Local Government. A Certificate of endorsement by Liaison Officers is not acceptable;
iii. Be computer literate;
iv. Be Certified by Government Medical Officer to be physically and mentally fit for appointment in the Commission;
v. Not be above 35 years of age for the entry point and 45years of age for the experienced hire.

5. JOB DESCRIPTION (PROFESSIONALS/ EXPERIENCED HIRES)

i. Work in designated Professional Departments of the Commission as may be assigned.

6. JOB DESCRIPTION (REGISTRATION AREA OFFICER)

i. General Data Management and maintenance of Polling Units records in respect of a given Registration Area;
ii. Compile and update Register/Records of voters in the Polling Units of the Registration Area;
iii. Issue Temporary/Permanent /Duplicate Voter Cards as approved by the Commission;
iv. Monitor Electoral Activities and other duties that may be assigned within the Registration Area.
