Position Summary
Nestlé Nigeria is currently looking for an IT Coordinator to supervise the day-to-day operations of IS & IT platforms including Factory Automation Systems; while ensuring best quality service based on continuous improvement and according to Service Level Agreements.
Responsibilities
- Providing support and operating all incidents and requests related with factory automation systems.
- Supporting factory operations through functional objectives, ensuring harmonization and consistency of existing/new tools and processes.
- Providing support and operating LAN, WAN and end-user computing issues within agreed service levels.
- Managing and supporting end-user computing local escalations, ensuring appropriate stakeholders’ communication and driving root cause elimination.
- Ensuring flawless implementation of agreed projects on time and on budget following agreed methodology.
- Coordinating and delivering technical requirements within process improvement projects.
- Leading / guiding and supporting market project teams in undertaking business process improvement projects or initiatives; and/or the deployment of Information Technology solution functionalities.

- Establishing, maintaining and optimizing an efficient sustained organization across all levels within the Information Technology support organization, ensuring SLO and ticket volume reduction targets are met.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or other related course. A relevant Professional Certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a key IT personnel within a highly structured environment.
- Technical experience in systems hardware, LAN, WAN, telephony, etcetera.
- Broad knowledge of IT technology and operations.
- General understanding / orientation of service delivery processes including prioritization and scheduling.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Process Teams, Security Team, Operations, Infrastructure, Third-Party Providers and Development teams.
- Good communication skills with demonstrated clarity in spoken and written words; and an appreciable knowledge of English language.

- Efficiently managing consumer complaints in line with the Nestle internal Consumer Service commitments.
- Management of Care Center activities – consumer correspondence on product complaints, and enquiries via e-mails, letters, website, hotline and product replacement.
- Supporting the brands/categories in the generation of insights and understanding of consumers, as well as support innovation and renovation process with relevant consumer information on products.
- Driving consumer education on product knowledge via community forums, organizations and schools.
- Managing the continuous training and use of in-house panelist for tasting and sensory evaluation.
- Liaising with the requisite stakeholders (Regulatory Affairs, Recording Studios and Radio Stations) to ensure timely flighting of approved Nestlé Nutrition Line episodes.

- Working closely with the Categories to ensure that all consumer connection activities under Consumer Services help to build brands and achieve overall brand communication objectives.
- Providing professional nutritional advice when required to support the various brands in all their direct consumer contact activities and driving consumer education.
Requirements

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Biochemistry, Home Economics or other related course.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service, Marketing or other relevant role, preferably within a similar FMCG company.

- Tax Audit and Litigation – Support the Tax Manager in preparing and managing direct/indirect tax audits and litigations.
- Tax Returns and Filing – Support in the preparation and filing of statutory tax returns (e.g. CIT, TP, WHT, VAT, CGT, PAYE) for compliance with revenue code.
- Group Tax Reports – Completion of quarterly CACT tax packages and render support in other group tax reports.
- Tax Transactions – Review of tax transactions (e.g. suppliers’ invoices) for compliance with tax rules.
- Tax General Ledger (GL) Reconciliations – Support reconciliation of relevant tax GLs for approval purposes.
- Support with the tax aspect of the payroll processes.
Requirements
What will make you successful:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related course.
- 4 to 6 years cognate work experience in tax practice with a similar Multinational or reputable Accounting Firm.
- Membership of a Professional Accounting Body e.g. ACTI, ACA, ACCA.
- Understanding of business principles and best practices to ensure direct and indirect tax compliance; and tax optimization within Nestlé’s governance standards.
