The entry submission period for DV-2026 is from 12:00PM EDT (GMT -4) on October 7, 2026 to 12:00PM EST (GMT -5) on November 10, 2026. The entry form will only be available for submission during this period and this period only. Entries will NOT be accepted through the U.S. Postal Service.

- For the purposes of eligibility some countries include components and dependent areas overseas.
- Please read carefully about eligibility in the DV-2026 Program Instructions (opens in a new tab) (PDF) – Embeded PDF is in English version, other versions are available at the official website
- If you are a native of a dependency or overseas territory, please select the appropriate country of eligibility.
- For example, natives of Macau S.A.R should select Portugal, and natives of Martinique should select France.

How to Apply for US DV Lottery 2026.
Interested candidates should visit the online application portal @ https://dvprogram.state.gov/ to apply.
US visa application is currently done through the U.S visa application website (dvprogram.state.gov (opens in a new tab)) or website domicile to the countries US embassy (e.g ng.usembassy.gov (opens in a new tab) for application through US Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria)
However, the entry form for the US DV Lottery 2026 will only be available for submission through the U.S visa application website (dvprogram.state.gov (opens in a new tab)) during the stipulated application period only. Entries will NOT be accepted through the U.S. Postal Service.
