  1. Visit the appropriate page on the FIRS primary site – https://apps.firs.gov.ng/tinverification/
  2. Next, you can choose between the three available options.
  3. Pick the Tax Identification Number line like in the picture below;
  4. Write down your newly-issued number;
  5. Type in the symbols you see in the Captcha image;
  6. Click the red “Search” bar.

TIN number verification using the CAC search option

  1. Visit the TIN validation site as shown above;
  2. Pick the CAC Registration Number line;
  3. Write down your Corporate Affairs number combined with the two-letter code;
  4. Type in the secret symbols you see on the image;
  5. Click the red “Search” bar.

TIN number verification using the Phone Number option

  1. Visit the TIN validation site as shown above;
  2. Pick the Registered Phone Number line;
  3. Write down the phone number you used when you were applying for the TIN;
  4. Type in the secret symbols you see on the image;
  5. Click the red “Search” bar.
