ABSU 27th Convocation Ceremony Postponed Indefinitely : The Governing Authorities of Abia State University have approved the postponement of the proposed 27th Convocation Ceremony of the University till further notice, due to recent global developments.

This is to inform you that the Abia State University (ABSU) has postponed its convocation ceremony over the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

Previously, the 27th Convocation Ceremony of Abia State University (ABSU) for the conferment of Degrees and award of certificates and prizes was scheduled to hold on 27th March, 2020 at the University Convocation Arena.

With this development, the information listed below is now altered and not going be in effect henceforth.

Pre convocation Lecture,
Lecturer: President General Ohaneze Ndi Igbo and former Hon. Minister for Information, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief  Nnia Nwodo.
Venue: University Auditorium
Time: 11.00am

Friday, 27th March, 2020
Convocation Proper Featuring:
Award of Degrees (First and Higher Degrees)
Award of Honorary Degrees
Venue: University Pavilion
Time: 11.00am

Graduands who have duly completed their clearance will collect their Degree Certificates.
