WAEC Nov/Dec Results 2026 Out – See How to Check Here : The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released results of candidates that sat for the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination in Nigeria and withheld the results of 9,457 candidates.
The Head of National Office, WAEC Nigeria, Mr Olu Adenipekun, announced the release of the results on Friday at a media conference in Lagos.
According to him, a total of 94, 884 candidates who sat for the examination, out of which 33, 304 (representing 35.10%) obtained credits and above in at least five mandatory subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

35. 64% of the total candidates who sat the same exam last year had a similar result, indicating a slight fall.

How To Check WAEC Nov/Dec Results 2026 Online
If you are one of the candidates that participated in the examination, checking the result is very simple.
Remember the smart identity card used during the exams? Well, the result checker pin and serial number contained on it are all that is needed.

All you need to do is:
- Go to https://www.waecdirect.org. which is the WAEC result checking portal.
- Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
- Select your Examination Year
- Select your Examination Type which is “school candidate result”.
- Then enter the Card Serial Number.
- Enter the Card PIN afterwards.
- Finally, click “Submit” button to get your 2026 WAEC Result.
