www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng – Delta State Bursary & Scholarship Registration Portal 2025 : The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board will open the site for online bursary registration of students for the State Government’s 2025/2026 Students’ Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS) from Tuesday 14th January to Thursday 13th February, 2025.

The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, hereby invites applications from qualified Delta State Students in Public and private Tertiary Institutions to participate in the 2025/2026 Student’s Special Assistance Scheme (Bursary Award).

The Delta State Bursary & Scholarship Registration Portal 2025 is www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng. All interested candidates should visit the online registration form portal to register online. But before then, read below to see the application guidelines.

Delta State Bursary & Scholarship Eligibility.

In a statement issued by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Mr Orishedere Sunday JP, all applicants must:

Be of Delta State origin
All applicants must have registered with National Identification Management Commission (NIMC)
Ether be in second year or above (200 – 500 Level) in the University or;
Be in OND II and above in the Polytechnics/Monotechnics
Be in 200 level and above for colleges of education students;
Have a CGPA of 2.2 and above in the previous academic year examination.

Delta State Bursary Eligibility.

Be of Delta State Origin;
All applicant above 18 years of age MUST have registered with National Identification Management Commission (NIMC);
All applicant below 18 years of age MUST submit JAMB registration number;
Be a Registered full time student only of any Public Tertiary Institutions;
(Diploma, Masters and PhD Students are not eligible);
Either be in Second year or above (200 to 500 level) in the Universities or
Be in ND II and HND II in the Polytechnics / Monotechnics;
Be in 200 level and above for all Higher Institution.
Only approved public and private owned schools (University, Polytechnics and College of Educations) are Eligible to apply.
Have a CGPA of 2.20 and above in the previous academic year’s examination.

Delta State Scholarship Eligibility.

Be of Delta State Origin;
All applicant MUST have registered with National Identification Management Commission (NIMC);
Display intellectual ability and leadership potential;
Meet the University’s English language requirements (usually at least 6.5 in IELTS or equivalent TOEFL score valid for current year admission) Oversea/External Scholarship Only;
You must currently reside in Nigeria;
Proof that you must return and take up permanent residence in Nigeria after completion of the proposed programme of study;
Must have a valid Nigerian passport;
Be a Registered full time Student only of any Public and Private Tertiary Institutions.

Important Notice For Existing Applicants via www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng.

Existing applicants still in school should;

Login with their existing applicant ID and password.
Click on “Make Payment” at the left menu to make payment.
Click on “2025/2026 Application” menu after you’ve successfully made the payment to re-apply. NOTE: Update your session and CGPA as multiple applications will attract automatic disqualification.

Applicants are to fill the Fresh Application Form and submit online.
Online processing fee of N800 will charged using debit cards.
Once the Payment is successful, Login to your profile page to complete your details by providing your Bank details and your Academics details.
Download and Print your Online Acknowledgement Card after successful payment for verification, It is extremely important that you retain your Acknowledgement Card after sending scan copy to: 2025bursary@dsbsb.dl.gov.ng
Multiple application will be disqualify. Do you NOT apply more than once.
Approved Public and Private Owned Schools (University, Polytechnics and College of Educations) are Eligible to apply.
Deadline is Friday, February 14, 2025.
