This is to inform the general public that NIRSAL PLC is calling on all smallholder farmers, farmer leaders and aggregators to key into its Agro Geo-Cooperative model created for the purpose of sustainable farm/field structuring and governance, to enable sustainable access to finance, quality inputs and structured markets through NIRSAL’s facilitation.

NIRSAL Targeted Credit Facility SME Loan Application Form 2024.

The exercise aims at creating 16,000 Agro Geo-Cooperatives (ranging from 10 hectares to 20,001 hectares and above) on 4 million hectares of farmland and enrolling about 8 million farmers across Nigeria who is expected to produce about 12 million metric tonnes of Grain Product Equivalent (GPE) annually over the medium to long term.

Step 3: Receive Funds Loans are paid into the account of beneficiaries. Unqualified candidates are given feedback.

Step 4: Get Business Support Services The Entrepreneurship Development Institute assists you to implement a business plan and provide business support services commercially.

Step 5: Make Sales Sell products and services to pay back the loan and make a profit.

Step 6: Repay Loan Run your business, keep proper records, monitor sales and expenses to maximize profit and pay back the loan.

  3. Do I need collateral? – No, this loan scheme does not require a collateral.
  4. How long will it take to receive funds? – This loan scheme is designed to be easily accessible. The entire process is automated. From application submission to disbursement takes six(6) to eight(8) weeks.
