www.result.neco.gov.ng – NECO Result Checking Portal [Login / Register] : In this post, you’ll know how to make use of the new neco result checking portal online. NECO result checker, result.neco.gov.ng portal for checking of the 2025 June/july ssce results online.

The new NECO Results online portal offers a convenient and simpler way to check all NECO results. Once results have been released, they will be made available on NECO Results platform. Visit to www.result.neco.gov.ng check your results.

Using NECO Results, candidates can check their SSCE, BECE and NCEE results by purchasing tokens. The token(s) can be shared with candidates, parents, schools, organizations or any other individual who wishes to view a candidate’s results.

How To Register an Account on www.result.neco.gov.ng

As you know the NECO results platform is where you can check your NECO results, however before you can do this you will need to REGISTER AN ACCOUNT.

The steps below will guide you through on how to register an account.

• Visit www.neco.gov.ng then click on ‘NECO Results’ at the top menu.
• On the NECO Results page, scroll down and click on the Check Results button.
• You will be redirected to the NECO Result checking page, Click on REGISTER A NEW ACCOUNT to create your new account.
• Fill out the form with the required information which includes your full name, phone number, email address and enter secure password.
  
• After filling the form click on REGISTER button. A confirmation link will be sent to the email address you used to register.
• In your email inbox you’ll receive a mail from NECO Results portal, open the mail and click on the VERIFICATION LINK to verify your account.  
• Once you click on the link your account will be verified and you’ll need to go and

Once you’ve created an account the next step is to log-in. Follow the guide below to login to your account. If you’ve not been able to create an account.

 

• Step 1: Visit www.neco.gov.ng
• Step 2: Click on ‘NECO Results’
• Step 3: On the NECO Results page, scroll down and click on ‘CHECK RESULTS’ button.
• Step 4: Click on the ‘LOGIN HERE‘ located at the bottom to login to an existing account.
• Step 5: Enter the email or phone number as well as your password that you used to register
• Step 6: Once logged in, you can now view your dashboard.

 

Purchase a Token via www.result.neco.gov.ng

A token works like a scratch card, it is used to check results when they are released by NECO. Please note that NECO no longer uses scratch cards to check results, you can only use token to check result.

Follow the steps below to Purchase a token and check your results:

Step 1
Visit the NECO Result page: result.neco.gov.ng

Step 2
Click on PURCHASE TOKEN button,

Step 3
Enter your login details.

Step 4
Click on ‘PURCHASE TOKEN’ either on the side menu or on your Dashboard.

Step 5
Enter the number of tokens you wish to buy and click on PAY NOW

Step 6
A receipt will be shown next, tick the box to confirm payment and click PROCEED TO PAY

Step 7
You’ll be redirected to the Remita payment page, choose your type of payment whether Card, Bank Branch, Account, Internet Banking, Pocket Money. Once you’ve chosen your preferred payment method click SUMBIT.

Step 8
Once payment is confirmed, you’ll be taken back to your account where you’ll see your purchased tokens listed out on the right hand side of the screen, click GO TO TOKENS, to view all tokens.

View all purchased tokens by clicking on MY TOKENS

How to Check your NECO Results on result.neco.gov.ng.

There are two ways to checking your result.

1. You login to your account and purchase a token and use your purchased token to check your account.
2. An already purchased token is shared with you and you use that to check your result.

Method 1: Purchasing a token from your account

You can purchase a token by login to your account and clicking on the purchase token button.

• After purchasing a token, click on CHECK RESULT button at the bottom of the screen or on the side menu.
• The check result button will be loaded out on the screen, fill out the form. and click the CHECK RESULT button.
• If you do not know your token number, simply click on MY TOKENS on the side menu and all your purchased tokens will be listed out.
• Click on the CHECK RESULT button on the right hand side to use a selected token to check your result. Fill out the form and use any of your tokens.

 

Method 2: Using a previously purchased/shared token

1. Visit the NECO Result page: results.neco.gov.ng
2. Select your Exam Year and Type.
3. Enter the 12 digit token number and your exam registration number
4. Click on ‘check result’ and wait for examination results to be displayed on screen

N.B: One token can be used a maximum of 5 times. After this limit, you will need to purchase a new token to view results again.

How to Share Your NECO Result Token

You can share your purchased token with a friend or a family member, so they can view your results.

The steps below will show you how to share your token

Step 1
Go to www.neco.gov.ng

Step 2
Click on ‘NECO RESULTS‘

Step 3
Login to your account and click on the ‘PURCHASE TOKEN’ button to purchase a token. If you’ve already purchased a token go to the next Step.

Step 4
To view your purchased tokens, click on MY TOKENS on the side menu or TOKENS on the dashboard.

Step 5
All your tokens will be listed out. Then, Click on the SHARE button to share your token via email.

Step 6
Enter the email and click SHARE

How to Check NECO Result With a Shared Token

If you have a shared token, you can simply go to the result checking page and use the shared token you have to check to your result. To check your Exam Results follow the steps below;

• Step 1
  Visit www.neco.gov.ng click  on ‘NECO RESULTS’.

Scroll down and click on the ‘CHECK RESULTS’ butto

Step 3
Select the Exam Year

Step 4
Select the Exam Type

Step 5
Enter the 12-digit token number

Step 6
Enter your Registration Number

Step 7
Click on ‘Check Result’ button and your result will be printed out.

How to Print NECO Result Tokens 

After purchasing the a token to check your result, you can also share it by printing it out.

Step 1
First login to your account and purchase a token. If you’ve previously purchased a token go to step 2.

Step 2
Click on MY TOKENS on the side menu or TOKENS on your dashboard.

Step 3
Click on the PRINT TOKENS button

Step 4
Your tokens will be listed out on a new page, click the PRINT button again, select your printer and print your tokens.

Viewing & Troubleshooting your Transactions

If you made a payment using Bank Branch and you weren’t given a token after the transaction, or you made any type of payment at all, use the following steps to know what to do in those cases and retry the payment. You can also view all your previously transaction to keep track of all payments:

Step 1
Visit the NECO Result page and log in to your account www.result.neco.gov.ng

Step 2
On your dashboard, click on the TRANSACTIONS button or on the side menu.

Step 3
All previous transactions will be listed out.

Step 4
Click on the CHECK STATUS button

Step 5
Payment status will be loaded, Click RETRY to attempt the Transaction again.

Step 6
Once payment is confirmed, transaction will be approved, you can view your tokens in MY TOKENS.

Resolving Payments made with Bank Branch Option on Remita

While purchasing a token, if you chose Bank Branch payment and are still unable to view your tokens, use the steps below to retry your transaction. If it was successful, your transaction will be approved otherwise it will fail.

Step 1
On your dashboard, click on the TRANSACTIONS button or on the side menu.

Step 2
All previous transactions will be listed out.

Step 3
Click on the CHECK STATUS button

Step 4
Payment status will be loaded, Click RETRY to attempt the Transaction again.

Step 5
Once payment is confirmed, transaction will be approved, you can view your tokens in MY TOKENS.
