UMYU Postpones 4th Convocation Ceremony Over Coronavirus Pandemic : Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, UMYU 4th convocation ceremony schedule for 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 set of graduands has been announced but postponed due to coronavirus pandemic.

UMYU Postpones 4th Convocation Ceremony Over Coronavirus Pandemic.

This is to inform the general public, that the Management of Umaru Musa Yaradua University had postponed its 4th Convocation ceremonies slated for 27th and 28th of March, 2020 to a later date.

The postponement became imperative after elaborate deliberations and in compliance with the directives of relevant stakeholders in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

A new date will be communicated later

The Management regret any inconveniences the Postponement caused.

This is to inform the entire University community that the senate at its 104th meeting has approved the conduct of the 4th convocation ceremony for the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 set of grandaunts as follows:

27th March, 2020

    • Convocation Lecture at University Auditorium

28th March, 2020

  • Award of Bachelor degrees
  • Award of Postgraduate degrees and Diploma
  • Award of honourary degrees
