Minister Reveals Npower June/July Stipend Payment Date: June Stipend and July Stipend payment update for Npower Beneficiaries has been revealed.
Mediangr reports that Sadiya Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, has finally revealed when Npower beneficiaries will receive their unpaid stipends.

The Minister said Batch A Npower beneficiaries and Batch B Npower beneficiaries of the Federal Government social intervention scheme, N-Power, will receive their stipends before the onboarding of the new beneficiaries by the government led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Sadiya who disclosed this in a series tweets on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday night, August 16, assured Npower beneficiaries of the social intervention scheme that “efforts are in high gear to clear the stipends.”
The Minister tweeted: “The N-Power Batch C application portal closed on Sunday, August 9, 2024, after receiving over 5m applications.

“As we embark on the review process, efforts are in high gear to clear the stipends for Batch A and B before onboarding the new set of beneficiaries,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Sadiya’s assurance is coming two days after a rights activist and co-founder of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement, Aisha Yesufu, asked disengaged N-Power protesters to meet with other agitators to “protest on the same day.”
The call by the human rights activist is coming at a time Npower beneficiaries are still lamenting the delay in payment of Npower June stipend and Npower July stipend for the year 2024 by the Federal Government.

Last month, several Npower beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N-Power programme protested in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, on Thursday 23rd July 2024, over unpaid Npower stipends and disengagement from the famed programme by Federal Government.
The have not paid those owed march, April, may and June. Over 88,000 batch A and B, flagged account which they claimed they had clarified.
The most saddened thing I’m this administration is that alot of youth depends on this 30,000stipend to wipe the basic need day in day out suddenly. Sadiya decided to withdrawed them back to the Labour market due to the fact the (99.9)percent are the children’s of poor just because the had made a protest regarding the issue of backlog.
