UNIBEN Part-Time Degree Admission Form 2025/2026: The University of Benin (UNIBEN) is now selling application forms for admission into its part-time UNDERGRADUATE Degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. UNIBEN part-time form is now available for purchase online.

UNIBEN Part-Time Degree Admission Requirements

The General University Admission Requirements that apply uniformly across the Faculties, as well as the Specific Faculty Admission Requirements below.

As a candidate you must have obtained a minimum of 5 credit passes in mathematics and English language and any 3 other subjects related to your registered course of study. Check HERE for list of courses and their correct subject combination

Administrative courses like Accounting, Business Administration are the most applied courses under part time studies in the University of Benin. Faculty of Science we have courses like computer science, Biology, chemistry, physics as the most registered part time courses in UNIBEN part time admission form. While for faculty of education, Accounting education and business education are the most commonly part time courses applied for in UNIBEN.

To gain admission into UNIBEN part time degree programmes DOES NOT require the universal tertiary matriculation examination (UTME). All that is required is to get your correct O’level results and must be at least 18 years of age to be qualified to purchase the UNIBEN part time admission form. In the course of writing this article, we shall also provide the approved entry admission requirements to study any of the part time courses offered in UNIBEN as at today.

Some candidates or applicants often complain using the following statements “the course i applied for was not given to me, what should i do? i met all the admission requirements yet i was not offered admission, how do i apply for UNIBEN part time degree programme? what are the part time courses offered in UNIBEN, what are the requirements to apply for UNIBEN part time degree programme?, what is UNIBEN part time degree cut off mark? 

All above questions have one answer, meeting the admission requirements. Any candidate that does meet the UNIBEN part time admission requirement automatically is eligible for admission except the quota for his or her department has been met and in such circumstance, only the best will be selected.

One common requirement for the UNIBEN part-time courses is that they all require O’level results with at least five (5) credit passes which must include English language and mathematics. However, courses like Law, international relations and others.

To qualify for the entrance examinations into the various part-time degree programmes, candidates must satisfy the stated general and specific requirements for admission

How to Apply for UNIBEN Part-Time Admission Form

All applications should be made between 7.00 am February 23, 2025 and 12.00 midnight May 15, 2025. The procedure for the 2025/2026 application is as follows:

Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process.

  1. Visit https://uniben.edu.ng/
  2. Click on Student Portal.
  3. Click on myuniben Portal
  4. Click on Online Application on the homepage to proceed.
  5. click on “Start a new application”, read the instruction and click on “continue”
  6. Fill in your personal data and Select “Programme Type”, Faculty, Department and Programme for both first and second choice courses.
  7. Click on “Pay with Card” to make application fee payment with either Visa or Master Card, follow the instruction to pay the application fee of N12,500.00 (The fee excludes other charges for Past questions and Portal Services of N2000.00). Application Number and Reference Number will be generated after successful payment and will be sent to the specified and functional “Email Address”,
  8. Upload a RECENT and CLEAR “1×1” COLOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND IN JPEG FORMAT ONLY. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE  SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION and failure/forfeitures of admission.
  9. Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online. (No correction will be accepted after the closing date).
  10. Print out an acknowledgement slip that contains the screening schedule.

NOTE that GSM phones and calculators are NOT allowed.

CLOSING DATE: The application website closes on May 15, 2025 (i.e., all applications must be concluded online not later than May 15, 2025).

ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS:

Admission into certain programmes shall be through entrance examination to be conducted.The Screening test shall be computer-based.

However, there will be no Entrance Examinations for some programmes. Admission into such programmes will be based on the general requirements approved by the Senate.

Please note that to complete this Admission Process, Candidates are required to fill out their details including biometrics at a JAMB approved Centre on the JAMB site (jamb.org.ng) for a fee of N3500.
