University of Bristol International Scholarships 2022/2023

University of Bristol International Scholarships 2022/2023: Undergraduate and Postgraduate students are currently welcomed to apply for the University of Bristol Think Big Scholarships targeted at international fee paying students. Prospective international students can apply for funding towards the cost of tuition fees.

These awards are valued at £5,000; £10,000 and £20,000 depending on the catgory. Awards must be used towards the cost of tuition fees. You can apply if you have applied to start a one-year full-time postgraduate programme at the University of Bristol in September.

Eligibility Criteria | University of Bristol International Scholarships.

Undergraduate

To be eligible for the University’s undergraduate scholarships, you must:

• have applied to any undergraduate course at the University of Bristol, with the exception of medicine, dentistry and veterinary science;
• start your undergraduate course in September 2022;
• be classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes;
• not already be in receipt of other funding which would equate to more than the full cost of tuition fees alongside a Bristol scholarship.

Postgraduate

To be eligible for the University’s postgraduate scholarships, you must:

• have applied to any one-year, full-time master’s programme at the University of Bristol;
• start your master’s programme in September 2022;
• be classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes;
• not already be in receipt of other funding which would equate to more than the full cost of tuition fees alongside a Bristol scholarship.

Award

Unless otherwise stated, scholarships will be given in the form of a tuition fee discount and are non-transferable. No cash alternative will be offered.

If the amount of scholarship awarded is more than the cost of the tuition fees, the tuition fees will be covered in full and any remainder will not be issued.

Unless otherwise stated, undergraduate scholarships will be awarded for all years of undergraduate study taking place at the University of Bristol (not including years studied away from Bristol, such as years in industry), subject to satisfactory attainment throughout the programme.

The University of Bristol reserves the right to update or amend scholarship awards without notice, based on the availability and quality of applications that are received.

How to apply University of Bristol International Scholarships.

Application Deadline

The are two applications round for this scholarship:

• Round one deadline: 10 am (UK time) 28 March 2022. Undergraduate and postgraduate applicants will be considered in round one.
• Round two deadline: 10 am (UK time) 13 June 2022. Only postgraduate applicants will be considered in round two.

All undergraduate applicants must apply in round one. Undergraduate applicants will not be considered in round two.

Postgraduate applications for round one may be considered again in round two. We will contact you after 6 May to let you know if your application has been unsuccessful or if it will be considered in round two.

All scholarship offers are final. If you are a postgraduate applicant and you are made an offer in round one, you will not be considered for any higher tuition fee awards in round two.

We cannot accept late applications.

Assessment process

Round one – successful applicants will be contacted on or before 6 May 2022. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after.

Round two – successful applicants  will be contacted on or before 8 July 2022. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after.

Other criteria

Applicants who defer their studies cannot defer their scholarship.

If you are awarded a scholarship, you agree to act as a good ambassador for the University of Bristol and at times will be expected to participate in events or promotional activities. Any involvement in these activities will take up no more than five hours per term.

Unless otherwise stated, scholarships will be given in the form of a tuition fee discount. Due to strict UK Visas and Immigration regulations, you must be able to show you have sufficient funds to cover the remainder of your tuition fees as well as adequate living expenses.
