NIMC Identity Day Competition 2024: In celebration of the 5th Identity Day themed “Identity Concerns All and It Is for All”, the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) invites pupils and students from Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary institutions across Nigeria to partake in an essay, poetry, or artwork contest.
Themes revolve around the essence of identity. Specific guidelines based on the student’s level apply. Submissions can be sent via email or directly to designated NIMC offices. The deadline is 4:00 PM, 18th August 2024. NIMC staff and their families are not eligible.

The Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy, and the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), have rolled out the red carpet to celebrate a momentous occasion: the 5th Identity Day. Entry Guidelines:
- For the Essay Aficionados:
- Primary School: Let your ideas flow, but keep it tight within 250 words.
- Secondary School: Dive deeper, but cap it at 1000 words.
- Tertiary: Go all out with your thoughts, but don’t exceed 2000 words.
- Poetry Lovers:
- Keep your piece concise, ensuring it fits neatly within a single page, irrespective of your educational level.
- Art Enthusiasts:
- Pour your creativity on either an A4 or A3 canvas.
