Anthony Wilkin Fund 2024/2025 at University of Cambridge & How to Apply: The Faculty Board of Human, Social, and Political Science invites applications for the Anthony Wilkin Studentship in Ethnology and Archaeology and for grants from the Anthony Wilkin Fund.
The Fund is devoted to the encouragement of research in Ethnology and Archaeology. For the Studentship, preference is given to candidates who have obtained honours in the Archaeological and Anthropological Tripos or have been approved for the award of the degree of Master of Philosophy having followed a course under the supervision of the Degree Committee for the Faculty of Human, Social, and Political Science.

For grants, preference is given to current Cambridge graduate students; UTOs, Postdoctoral Fellows and scholars affiliated with the University of Cambridge desiring to pursue research in Ethnology or Anthropology or Archaeology.
The value of individual awards, including both grants and the Studentship, will be decided by the Management Committee after reviewing all applications.
Eligible Field of Studies: Postgraduate Research in the field of Ethnology, Anthropology or Archaeology.
Anthony Wilkin Fund Eligibility.
To be eligible, applicants must;
- Have obtained honours in the Archaeological and Anthropological Tripos.
- Have been approved for the award of the degree of Master of Philosophy having followed a course under the supervision of the Degree Committee for the Faculty of Human, Social, and Political Science.
- Must have an undergraduate and postgraduate degree.
- need to meet specific English language requirements in order to be able to study at the university.
