LASUED Courses: Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) courses and admission requirements – The university will start accepting candidates for admission into its sixty-seven (67) take-off programmes from the 2025/2026 academic session.

The Lagos State government has transformed Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Oto-ljanikin (AOCOED) and the Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) to the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED).

Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) Admission Requirements

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROPOSED 67 TAKE-OFF UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

Admission will be open to all, irrespective of race, tribe, religion, sex or political leanings. For the take-off of the new university, candidates are to be admitted strictly to the 100-Level of the 67 identified programmes in Tables A-G, through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Direct Éntry admissions will be in the 2025/2026 Session.

For admission to 100-Level through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates should:

  1. Obtain at least five (5) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) or equivalent in relevant subjects including English Language in not more than two sittings;
  2. Score a minimum of points in UTME specified by the University to JAMB.
  3. Pass the Post-UTME organized by the University.
