Lagos State University of Science and Tech Courses & Requirements: Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) Courses and Admission Requirements – The newly formed university will start accepting admission from interested candidates into its thirty-three (33) take-off programmes from the 2024/2025 academic session.
The Lagos State government has transformed the Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu to the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH).

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROPOSED 33 TAKE-OFF UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
Admission will be open to all, irrespective of race, tribe, religion, sex or political leanings. For the take-off of the new university, candidates are to be admitted strictly to the 100-Level of the 33 identified programmes in Tables A-E, through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Direct Entry admissions will be in the 2024/2025 Session.
For admission to 100-Level through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates should:
- Obtain at least five (5) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) or equivalent in relevant subjects including the English Language in not more than two sittings;
- Score a minimum of points in UTME specified by the University to JAMB.
- Pass the Post-UTME organised by the University.
