LASU Issues Notice to Postgraduate Students on Usage of Matric Number: Lagos State University (LASU) notice to postgraduate students compulsory usage of matriculation numbers by postgraduate students for all official transactions.
The Management of Lagos State University Postgraduate School has made a release on 31st January, 2025 compelling all admitted Postgraduate students to make use of their assigned and authentic matriculation numbers in all official transactions effective from 2025/2026 academic session.

LASU Issues Notice to Postgraduate Students on Usage of Matric Number.
This is as a result of the automation of the issuance of the matriculation numbers by the Directorate of ICT (DICT) and the need for the continuous implementation of digitization of the operations of the PG School as approved by the University Management.
Following from the above, all Postgraduate students admitted in the 2025/2026 academic session can now check their matriculation numbers online using the following approaches:
- browse the university website:Â https://www.lasu.edu.ng
- Point to STUDENT TAB
- Click on CHECK MATRIC NUMBER
- Enter Your Postgraduate Application Number
- Click on Submit
Thereafter, Postgraduate students (admitted in 2025/2026) that has dully paid all the necessary fees on the LASU Payment portal could then proceed as follows to complete the Bio-data and online courses registration by following these procedures:

- Point to STUDENT TAB
- Click on COURSE REGISTRATION
- Click on ‘PG COURSE REG’
