NECO Timetable 2025 for October/November Exam (SSCE INTERNAL): NECO timetable 2025 June-July examination (VALID and Up-to-date) has been published on this page. Due to COVID-19, this year’s NECO examination will commence on 5th October and ends on 14th November 2025.

We are pleased to announce to all the candidates that are attempting the National Examinations Council (NECO) June/July SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (INTERNAL) that the examination timetable is out.

Latest Update:

The Governing Board of the National Examinations Council (NECO) at its Special Meeting held on Thursday, 22nd October, 2025 reviewed the on-going 2025 SSCE (Internal) nationwide. The Council had in a press release, dated 21st October 2025, informed the general public of rescheduling some papers of the 2025 on-going SSCE.

Arising from that meeting, the Governing Board resolved that the 2025 SSCE (Internal) be postponed indefinitely in view of the current security challenges, occasioned by the #ENDSARS PROTESTS, which disrupted the smooth conduct of the examinations in some parts of the country.

In making this decision, the Board noted that due to these security challenges:

Some state governments imposed curfew and closed schools in order to safeguard lives and property;

In the circumstances, it has become difficult for the Council to move examination materials across the country;

Students in the affected locations were unable to sit for the papers already scheduled in the examination time table.

The Governing Board further resolved, that when normalcy returns, the Council will continue with the conduct of the examinations in all States.

While regretting any inconveniences this postponement may cause our esteemed stakeholders, the Council has however taken this decision in order to maintain the integrity and security of its examination procedures for seamless conduct of the Council’s examination.

NECO Timetable 2025 for October/November Exam (SSCE INTERNAL).

The NECO timetable 2025 is the most valuable asset for all the candidates preparing for the June/July SSCE. It allows candidates to know exactly when a specific subject is scheduled.

The NECO June/July examination is taken by candidates in their last stage of Secondary School Education. The SSCE is in two categories. One is for candidates in the third and final year of their senior secondary education and it is called SSCE Internal while the Second is SSCE External and is for candidates not in the School system, i.e. Private Candidates.

According to the NECO 2025 Timetable, the examination has been scheduled to take off on 5th OCTOBER and ends on 14TH NOVEMBER, 2025.

NECO releases new timetable for suspended SSCE exams

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has fixed new dates for the suspended Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) across the country. in all states and the FCT from Monday 9th November 2025.

The NECO SSCE examinations were earlier postponed indefinitely on Monday 25th October 2025 due to security challenges occasioned by the ENDSARS protests which disrupted the smooth conduct of the examinations in some parts of the Country.

A statement signed by the Council’s Head Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani said the examinations will now resume from Monday 9th across the country.

“Following the return of normalcy in the states and FCT, the examinations will now continue with a new Time-Table from Monday 9th November 2025 to Saturday 28th November 2025.

“This new timetable will be made available to the general public, schools and candidates from Wednesday 4th November 2025. The timetable can also be seamlessly downloaded below.

While the council thanked the general public and candidates for their patience and understanding during the period the SSCE was suspended, it also assured them of quality service in the discharge of her statutory responsibilities at all times.
