NDA Sets August 26 as Resumption Date for 76th Regular Cadet Course

The Nigerian Defence Academy has set August 26 as the mandatory resumption date for new cadets of the 76th Regular Combatant Course. Candidates who fail to report on this date risk losing their admission.

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced that new cadets enrolled in the 76th Regular Combatant Course are to resume on August 26.

This information was shared in a statement by NDA’s Mohammed Maidawa on Thursday.

Mr. Maidawa emphasized that the resumption date must be strictly followed.

He stated, “The NDA wishes to notify the public about an important update concerning the resumption date for candidates admitted into the 76th Regular Combatant Course.

“Earlier, it was communicated that the resumption dates for the 76th RC were scheduled between August 24 and 26. However, the academy now confirms that the final resumption date is August 26, without exception. This change is intended to give new cadets sufficient time to arrange their travel plans.”

Mr. Maidawa further clarified that all successful candidates must report to the NDA Ribadu Campus (old site) between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Monday. He warned that “failure to report on the specified date will lead to the immediate replacement of the candidate with someone from the reserve list.”

He also mentioned that only those candidates who present valid reasons, supported by evidence, for their inability to report on the stated date would be considered for admission.

The statement concluded, “All other candidates who do not report on August 26 will lose their admission.”
