LAUTECH Pre-Degree Programmes
Applicants can select two undergraduate programmes from the provided list divided into Groups A and B. Each candidate must choose only one programme from any of the two groups, ensuring the two choices do not belong to the same group. Note that the B. Tech programme spans five years, while the B.Sc programme lasts four years.

Programme Duration and Structure
The pre-degree programme spans six calendar months, including an intensive, compulsory three-month ICT training course. This format ensures students gain a comprehensive grounding in their chosen scientific field and a solid foundation in today’s essential ICT skills.
LAUTECH Pre-Degree Admission Form Admission Prerequisites
Prospective applicants need to fulfil the following criteria:
- Have five O’ Level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB. The results should not be from more than two sittings and should include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Agric. Science. Optional subjects include Economics, Geography, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, Business Studies, Government, Literature in English, Civic Education, History, Yoruba, and CRS/IRS.
- Candidates with pending results or subject deficiencies can apply, provided the results will be available before the programme’s conclusion.
How to Apply for LAUTECH Pre-Degree Admission Form
- Prospective applicants should visit apply.lautech.edu.ng and pay ten thousand Naira (N10,000) for the Application Form using an Interswitch-enabled Debit (ATM) Card.

Key Dates
- The closing date for application submission is Friday, October 27, 2024.
- Applicants must ensure to download and print the Registration Confirmation Slip with their passport photograph as proof of successful form submission.
- The entrance examination for successful applicants is scheduled for Tuesday, October 31, 2024.
Entrance Examination
LAUTECH’s entrance examination will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT), with details regarding venue and time to be provided on successful applicants’ registration confirmation slips.
Placement into Degree Programmes
Placements into degree programmes are contingent on students’ performance at the programme’s conclusion, admission requirements, vacancies in the desired degree programme, participation in the ICT Intensive Training, and their 2024 UTME performance. Applicants must obtain the 2024 UTME Form, sit for the examination, and pass with the minimum cut-off mark as stipulated by the University Senate.
